Anubis Digital Studios Signs National Distribution Deal

Anubis Digital Studios has signed a contract with Anthem Pictures (http://www.anthemdvd.com) for the North American domestic distribution of their first feature-length film, DEAD MOON RISING.

DEAD MOON RISING is a zombie/comedy by writer/director Mark E. Poole that has won three film festivals and is currently under official Guinness World Record review for the largest zombie scene ever filmed.

Anthem Pictures continues to grow as one of the leading independent film and DVD distribution companies with over 100 films and television shows. Anthem sells to most major distributors and retailers. With a growing retail presence in North America, Anthem is quickly becoming the choice of the independent film industry for distribution.

The deal with Anthem Pictures provides a distribution channel for DEAD MOON RISING to reach the largest rental and retail stores and online markets in the United States. Anthem titles are nationally distributed to retailers such as Netflix, Blockbuster, Walmart, Target, Amazon.com, Borders, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, and many others.

Securing nationwide distribution for DEAD MOON RISING affords the platform for the next stage of Anubis Digital Studios’ growth: the creation of a production and distribution powerhouse of independent film in the Midwest United States.

Agents for Anubis Digital Studios will be attending the American Film Market in Santa Monica in the first week of November 2007.

Anubis Digital Studios has assembled an operations team of experienced film and business professionals, has begun production of their next feature film, REQUIEM FOR THE FALLEN, and is raising capital to fuel the production of 4 to 5 features per year.
